Max,

Your Bro from Conyers here...
You have been a wonderful inspiration to us all. You will be dearly missed. But, because of the hope that we have in Christ, we know that we will be reunited with you and Him one day.
Thank you for all the wisdom that you passed along to Jackie and me in raising Brooke and Lisa. Because of you, we are all better people.
Lynda and your girls have been truly blessed to have had you as husband and father in their lives.
You are a wonderful person. Until we see each other again...

Alan

Lynda: Just got back from Greece and Darrell called. I am so sorry. My heart is breaking for you and the girls. As Alan said though, we will see Max again. But for now, I am holding you in my heart and will wrap my arms around you when we are together. I love you, my doddle-bug sister! Robin

I read Max's entry last week about his latest trials and an old Japanese proverb came to mind. My intention was to post this quote last week which I feel truly exemplifies his character and spirit.

“Fall down Seven times...
Get up Eight” - Japanese proverb

I know if his body would have let him, Max would have.

You have been an inspiration and a good friend. I will miss you.

I thank my Lord for the visit I had with my "baby brother" Max just 1 week prior to his being admitted into the hospital. Our Mother died in 1989 and she has been waiting to see Max again. I know Mother, Daddy and Max are together again. Lynda, we know you are strong and we know you have some great friends and family. "Tall Up" and be the person Max has prepared you to be.

Sondra and David
